OPBV’s High Performance Program is meant for athletes who are looking to excel in beach volleyball and compete in the OVA Tour and Provincials. This program is based off of the Team Ontario Beach Program and is the only of its kind in Ontario other than the Team Ontario Program. Athletes must register with a partner to train in this program. Training groups will consist of 3-4 teams per group per court with one coach. Athletes who have participated in the past OPBV High Performance Programs have had success all the way up to and including National Champions.
Included in the program:
- May/June – 3 on court sessions per week (4:30pm-6pm – Monday-Wednesday)
- July/August – 3 on court sessions per week (9am-11am – Tuesdays-Thursdays) + 1 day of optional guided gameplay & scrimmages (9am-11am – Fridays)
- Professional coaching with low athlete to coach ratio
- Season planning with coach support
- Coaching support at select OVA tournaments and Provincials/Nationals
