South County Bandits and OnPoint Beach Volleyball are teaming up to offer a new Tournament Series in Windsor-Essex County for the summer of 2025. Get ready for the ultimate beach volleyball experience with our new “Championship Series”! This exciting tournament series is designed for youth beach volleyball players who want to compete, have fun, and showcase their skills—all while minimizing travel, time commitment, and costs.
Play in 2 or more tournaments to qualify and be ranked for the Championship Series Finale. You may play with a new partner each tournament. Each player will earn a ranking based on how their team finishes. If playing with a new partner, individual player rankings will be averaged together to create the new team ranking.
All events will be held at the Maidstone Recreation Centre Beach Volleyball Courts (except on June 7th & August 23rd which will be at On the Beach in Tecumseh).
These tournaments are open to all athletes regardless of club affiliation.
- Indoor Players: Looking to test out the sand without committing your entire summer? This is your chance to compete on the beach without spending your whole summer travelling from city to city. Players who love the sport on an indoor court, may just find they’ll enjoy a fun day on the sand as well.
- Competitive Teams: Local competitive teams looking to sharpen their skills and gain match experience will find the perfect environment to challenge themselves and improve their game through competitive play. These tournament are a great opportunity to refine your skills.
- Youth and Junior Players: Our 12u & 13u divisions provide young athletes a chance to participate, providing them with a supportive platform to develop their skills, make friends, and enjoy the camaraderie of beach volleyball. A great place to start your beach volleyball journey.
- Less Travel Stress: By playing in these local events, you can avoid the hassles of long travels and more time spent on the road. This means more time to enjoy your leisure activities or relax on the beach!
- Time Efficiency: Our compact tournament format allows you to participate in a full day of play without the dedication of a whole weekend or extended time away from home. Play hard and be back to your routine in no time.
- Affordable Fun: With budget-friendly entry fees, you can enjoy competitive play without significant financial strain. Join multiple tournaments throughout the series without worrying about breaking your budget!
- Skill Development: Competing in these tournaments is a fantastic way to enhance your skills, gain valuable match experience, and learn from other players. Plus, you’ll have the chance to get advice from experienced coaches and players.
- Community Connection: Become a part of a vibrant beach volleyball community! Meet and compete with fellow beach volley-ballers, share tips, and make lasting friendships through the sport you love.
- A Parent must first create a team by selecting “Myself as a staff member”.
- Create the team including adding a team name. Can be a simple name like “O’Neil/Milling” or a creative name like “Sets ‘R’ Us”
- On the next page after the parent signs the waivers, click “Add another registration”, which will allow you to then register “My Child”. Since the team has now been created, it’ll allow you to register your child to the new team name.
- There is a button that says “Invite Players”. Click on that to send an email invite to the parent of the other player. If you missed the invite players button, in the confirmation email of the team registration, there is a link to invite players.
