Divisions:
Recreational – Teams in our Recreational Division sign up just as much for the social aspect, as the volleyball. Teams still aim to win, but positions and play are more relaxed. You might be a beginner, or played for many years, either way, expect to play a care-free game of volleyball, with no big bone-breaking rallies, and enjoy a fun day!
Intermediate – Teams in our Intermediate Division love a good rally, and typically come with years of play. Teams tend to have a mix of experience, but all have strong overall skills. Play is a bit more relaxed than the competitive level, but rallies have good ball control. Players are capable of spiking, but are not looking to break any bones. Rules are still enforced (like lifts & double contact on sets) and everyone is hustling, as well as having a good social time!
Competitive – This is the highest level of play we offer. A majority of players will have played at least high school varsity, and a number of players have played varsity at the Collegiate or University level. Players at this level have very strong fundamentals in all aspects of the game – serving, passing, setting, attacking and blocking. All participants should be prepared to defend strong spikes. Ball Handling is pretty consistent and teams want strict adherence to the rules and games should be called accordingly. Rules are enforced more than Intermediate Division.
